Donna Duly Volkenannt recently
retired from her position as a management analyst for the Department of Defense. She lives
in St. Peters with her husband and two dogs. She serves as president of Saturday Writers,
second vice president and membership chair for the Missouri Writers Guild, and
secretary for the Ozarks Writers League. Her short stories, poems, and essays have
been recognized for numerous awards, including the Dan Saults Award, the annual OWL
writing award, the MWG Inspirational/Religious article award, and honorable mention in
national Steinbeck short story competition. Her work has been published in: Saint Louis
Events magazine, A Cup of Comfort for Women, A Cup of Comfort for Christmas,
StoryTeller magazine, and the Murder, Mystery, Magic, Madness, and Mayhem
Anthology (Cave Hollow Press). In spring 2004, her short stories will appear in The
MidRivers Review and Mysteries of the Ozarks (Volume I). |
