LEE ANN RUSSELL

Lee
Ann Russell works in the main office for Ramey/Price Cutter/Smitty's Supermarkets in
Springfield, MO. She has two daughters and a five-year-old grandson. Lee Ann
is an Honorary Life Member of Springfield Writers' Guild, member of Missouri State Poetry
Society, Missouri Poets and Friends, Missouri Writers' Guild, and Ozarks Writers' League,
among others. She gives original poetry readings and is a co-presenter of "The Power
of Poetic Principles in Prose" and "Does Poetry Matter?" Her book, How
to Write Poetry, Ballad to Villanelle, is used as a textbook for individuals and
poetry groups, and she also sells photo note cards. Lee Ann has published
fiction, non-fiction and photographs in Springfield! Magazine, The Ozarks
Mountaineer, All Roads Lead to Branson, Farm and Ranch Living, The News-Leader, Senior
Living, and has won numerous awards including the Dan Saults Writing Award and Cliff
Edom Photography Award from Ozarks Writers' League. |
