Julie Failla Earhart

 

   Internationally published, award-winning fiction and nonfiction author Julie Failla Earhart has a bachelor's degree in journalistic and creative writing and a master of fine arts degree from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. She’s been published around the world, including the U.S., India, and the United Kingdom.  She can provided week-long or weekend intensive writing workshops* for the beginning, intermediate, and experienced fiction writers. 
     Beginner classes include Getting Started, Creating 3D Characters, Creating Conflict, Plotting Along, Writing Dialogue, Point of View and Setting, It’s all in the Details, Revising and Editing, and Studying the Marketplace.
     Intermediate classes include First Sentence Expectations, Dialogue vs Dialect, Setting Considerations, Using the Comma, Using the Period, Avoiding Assumptive Action, Getting Published, and Copyright Basics.
     Experienced classes include The Moody Tones, Similes and Metaphors, Individual Critiquing, Round Table Discussions, Submitting Insights, The Spirit of Writing
     Other types of workshops include, but are not limited to, Writing for Magazines; How to use a Journal to find Voice, Story, and the Great American Novel; and Writing Away the Grief.
     Julie is also available for fee-based editing and critiquing.
