Ozarks Writers League is an active group of talented people. We try to take
as many photos as possible at our quarterly meetings. This page will showcase
our members both at the meetings in Branson, and at other writing events
throughout the country. If you have a photo you'd like to showcase here, send it
to LouTurn@aol.com along with a short
caption. Remember, it has to be taken at a writing or art event of some kind.

This is Lou Turner's picture, photo shopped to fluff the hair and reduce the
wrinkles. Lou has served as president, vice president, anthology
editor, book seller, and web editor for Ozarks Writers League for many
years. She lives in St. Charles, MO with her husband, Squeak, her son, Josh,
her mother, Claudia, her Sheltie, Maxie Doodle, and her new little rescue
dog, Minnie Main Street. Her life is hectic and fun. Currently she is
working at her new publishing business, High Hill Press, teaching writing at
the Cultural Arts Center near her home, and writing a book about her family.
It's called
The Miracles Save the World. Did I mention that the
book is about Holy Roller Vampire and Demon slayers? Ask her about the
research. She says Grandma will be rolling over in her grave. But
she'll no doubt be doing it while laughing.
